Universal Semantic Framework

May also be referred to as Shared Framework and Top Concepts.

The GraphBase Universal Semantic Framework is a basic upper-level ontology. Think of it as a graph-structured DNS for data. It's a single set of references that we hope can ultimately be used to reliably locate any concept and any piece of data in any domain.

It's a tool for use by human, or machine agents, and its primary purpose is to facilitate interoperability between these agents.

The Universal Semantic Framework is subject to a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License. Use it any way you like - just mention where it came from. The framework was derived intially from Wordnet, so your use of it may also be subject to this licence
